Funcom has finally put a date window on the PlayStation 5 version people have been asking about. Conan Exiles Enhanced, a native PS5 edition of Conan Exiles, is set for early 2027. That’s the release console players have been waiting on since the PC version went live in May 2026, and if you already own the PlayStation 4 version, the upgrade will be free.

Funcom says your previously purchased DLC and Bazaar items will carry over. The jump from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5 also brings a pretty clear technical step up: upgraded environments, better character models, stronger effects, plus Nanite geometry and Lumen lighting. In other words, PS5 players won’t be left playing the older build while everything else moves on.

There’s more bundled into this version, too. Funcom says to expect performance improvements, quality-of-life updates, and a redesigned UI. Full cross-play is planned either at launch or shortly after. If you own Isle of Siptah, you’ll be able to move between it and the Exiled Lands with the same character, and the Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc will be there from day one.

If you play Conan Exiles on console, this looks less like a basic port and more like the version you’d actually want to wait for.

Conan Exiles Enhanced hits PS5 in early 2027. Funcom also confirmed that Aloft is coming to PS5 in that same window, alongside the Aloft 1.0 launch.
