Nintendo\u2019s November 2026 financial report puts Nintendo Switch 2 at 26.35 million units sold worldwide. The original Nintendo Switch has now reached 157.20 million<\/strong>. The report covers the six months ending September 2026, and demand still looks solid: in Q2 alone, Nintendo sold 2.67 million Nintendo Switch 2 consoles and 15.04 million Nintendo Switch 2 games. The original Nintendo Switch still added to the total, with 0.61 million hardware units and 31.92 million software units.<\/p>\n

For the half year, Nintendo reported net profit of 220.92 billion yen<\/strong>, up 11% year over year, even though revenue fell 12% to 966.04 billion yen. The lift came from software, digital sales, and licensing. IP income jumped 88% to 62.7 billion yen, helped in part by The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, while 61.5% of software revenue in Q1 came from the Nintendo eShop.<\/p>\n\n

If you follow Nintendo\u2019s business closely, the software numbers are the part to watch here. According to Nintendo\u2019s November 2026 financial report, Mario Kart World<\/a> has sold 16.48 million copies, Donkey Kong Bananza<\/a> 5.05 million<\/strong>, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 72.00 million.
