Previously, it was hoped the mobile\/touch edition of Microsoft Office would be released this spring.<\/p>\n<p>The document was uncovered by ZDNet, and also suggests that a new version of Office for Windows Phone is due in April as well as a Windows RT version of Outlook also in fall.<\/p>\n<p>There are no details about what the mobile Office suite will include. It&#8217;s fairly certain that it will be limited compared to the desktop version, but exactly how limited is unknown.<\/p>\n<p>Fall 2014 is a long time to wait, and it gives consumers plenty of time to find alternatives like <a href=\"http:\/\/google-drive.en.softonic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Google Drive<\/strong><\/a> and different ways of working with touch screen devices.
