The option has now been added to the <strong>Menu<\/strong> button and the <strong>Recent<\/strong>, <strong>Favorites<\/strong>, <strong>People<\/strong> and <strong>Profile<\/strong> screens. There are other minor bug fixes relating to video and translations.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft recently announced that <strong>over 100 million people use Skype on Android<\/strong>, undoubtedly helped by the closure of Windows Live Messenger. The continuous updates and improvements suggest it is keeping a close eye on the competition, with apps like <strong>Viber<\/strong> starting to become credible alternatives to Skype. <strong>Viber<\/strong> recently launched a <strong>desktop app<\/strong>, and has much better developed messaging features than Skype, which is something disgruntled Windows Live Messenger users have been requesting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to its blog, Skype for Android users wanted an easier way to sign out.
