The company noticed that many IDs had been abandoned and decided to give them out to active users instead. The &#8220;My Wishlist&#8221; site allowed users to select up to five of their ideal user IDs.<\/p>\n<p>For those who didn&#8217;t sign up for Wishlist by the August 7th deadline, Yahoo! will still help you try and secure the user name of your dreams but for a price. $1.99 will give users access to the Watchlist, which lets you select up to five user names and will alert you when they become available.
