You can now <strong>download shows<\/strong> to watch later offline. You can download programs at home on WIFI, and then watch them at your leisure &#8211; they cannot be downloaded over 3G or 4G networks, which is good news for your data plan.<\/p>\n<p>Your downloaded programs can be kept for up to <strong>30 days<\/strong>, or expire seven days after your first viewing. This is in line with the <strong>desktop version<\/strong> of iPlayer. You can download programs in High or Standard quality. This brings the app in line with the iOS versions too.<\/p>\n<p>The BBC iPlayer supports downloads on <strong>Android 4.0 and 4.1 to 4.3<\/strong>.
