Angry Birds Star Wars 2 introduces many exciting new characters. Here, we’ll show you what they look like and how their powers work!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Angry Birds Star Wars 2 has finally arrived on iPhone<\/a>, iPad<\/a>, Android<\/a> and Windows Phone<\/a> devices. In the second installment of the series, you’ll find a ton of new characters, each with their own special powers.<\/p>\n

Here is our cheat sheet showing you all the new birds, pigs and droids in Angry Birds Star Wars 2. For the first time, you can play on both the light and the dark side of the Force. Of course, in the twisted reality of Angry Birds Star Wars 2, there will be the Avian and Swine side of the Force.<\/p>\n

To activate the characters’ special powers, it’s not enough to just shoot it with a slingshot. You have to time it correctly to enable its unique power by tapping the screen. What happens when the timing is perfect? We describe below…<\/p>\n

The Birds of the Force<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jar Jar Binks<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Jar<\/p>\n

After hitting\u00a0Jar Jar Binks with a slingshot, use\u00a0your finger to attach Jar Jar like a rope – using his tongue – to a\u00a0part of\u00a0the ceiling,\u00a0launching him\u00a0much further than with just the catapult.<\/p>\n

Captain Panaka<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Captain<\/p>\n

Captain Panaka shoots with his laser gun; all it takes is a single tap of the screen. Most importantly, however,\u00a0his gun shoots\u00a0with three lasers flying\u00a0side by side,\u00a0giving\u00a0you a\u00a0much better chance of hitting\u00a0your target.<\/p>\n

Padme<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Padme<\/p>\n

Padme has the power to move objects using\u00a0the Force. Click on the building\u00a0you want to destroy and it’ll get knocked over. This is in contrast to the power\u00a0of Princess Leia, who could draw blocks closer to her. This power was available\u00a0in the first installment\u00a0of Angry Birds Star Wars\u00a0but not in this\u00a0newest installment.<\/p>\n

Anakin Episode II<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Anakin<\/p>\n

Anakin Episode II, still on the Light side of the Force, uses, of course, the light saber.\u00a0Who would be a Jedi without a light saber? No one.<\/p>\n

Jedi Youngling<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Jedi<\/p>\n

Young Jedi students can separate into three separate characters, letting them cover a larger area for attack.<\/p>\n

Mace Windu<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Mace<\/p>\n

Master\u00a0Mace Windu throws his light saber,\u00a0which can even cut threw\u00a0hard surfaces, hitting targets and then flying back into his hands.<\/p>\n

Qui-Gon Jinn<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Qui-Gon<\/p>\n

Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi Master, has\u00a0great command of his light saber. When he reaches the target, tapping the screen and\u00a0wielding the light saber will\u00a0destroy\u00a0everything around you.<\/p>\n

The Pigs of the Force<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Jango Fett<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Jango<\/p>\n

Jango Fett fires a missile during flight; all\u00a0you\u00a0need to do is specify the destination by tapping the screen. Unfortunately, Jango himself\u00a0typically\u00a0changes trajectory\u00a0and doesn’t usually have any more destructive power.<\/p>\n

Darth Sidious<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Darth<\/p>\n

Darth Sidious can shoot his death rays\u00a0even through\u00a0thick walls. As seen in the picture above, he is able to reach a bird standing behind that stack of bricks.<\/p>\n

Battle Droid<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Battle<\/p>\n

Battle Droid simply shoots laser beams.<\/p>\n

Darth Maul<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Darth<\/p>\n

Darth Maul, just like in the movies,\u00a0wields two light sabers\u00a0which revolve around him as he approaches the target.<\/p>\n

Count Dooku<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Count<\/p>\n

Count Dooku, similar to\u00a0Mace Windu, throws his lightsaber, which flys back to him, even through hard surfaces.<\/p>\n

Droideka<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Droideka<\/p>\n

Robot Droideka, after tapping on the screen,\u00a0starts to spin and bounce off of objects,\u00a0causing major damage.<\/p>\n

Zam Wesell<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Zam<\/p>\n

Zam Wesell, exactly like Jar Jar Binks, takes advantage of the rope, attaching himself to the ceiling and flying further and higher to hit his target.<\/p>\n

General Grievous<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"GeneralGeneral Grievous weilds four light sabers on route to his target. He can\u00a0cause as much\u00a0damage as Luke or Annakin.<\/p>\n

Anakin Episode III<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Anakin<\/p>\n

Anakin Episode III has already crossed over to the Dark Side. His powers have gotten stronger and he can draw objects towards himself, then throw them anywhere on the map.<\/p>\n

Biker Scout<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Biker<\/p>\n

To harness the power of Bike Scout, you need to shoot him\u00a0as far as you can. Then, when you’re approaching\u00a0the end of the map, click on the object closet\u00a0to the slingshot and\u00a0Biker Scout returns\u00a0like a boomerang, destroying anything he\u00a0finds in his\u00a0path.<\/p>\n

Stormtrooper<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Stormtrooper<\/p>\n

Stormtrooper is the most basic character in the Hog Empire. He is equipped with a simple laser gun.\u00a0You aim, he shoots.<\/p>\n

TIE Fighter Pilot<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"TIE<\/p>\n

TIE Fighter Pilot shoots a laser, but with a dual beam, giving you a better chance at hitting your target.<\/p>\n

Darth Vader<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Darth<\/p>\n

Darth Vader, just like Anakin, can draw things towards himself, which he can then throw.<\/p>\n

Boba Fett<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Boba<\/p>\n

Boba Fett has better tools than his father Jango Fett and shoots\u00a0two rockets. You need to\u00a0aim roughly in the middle between the two characters that you want to destroy.<\/p>\n

Angry Birds Star Wars 2 introduces many new characters, but, as you\u00a0can see, most of their powers aren’t overly original. This doesn’t mean, however, that the game isn’t fun, especially for Star Wars fans!<\/p>\n
