With Windows RT, classic torrent downloaders like uTorrent <\/a>won’t\u00a0work. However, with Torrex Lite<\/a> there is another\u00a0powerful torrent downloader.<\/p>\n

We’ll show you how to set up the software correctly.<\/p>\n

1. Download and install Torrex Lite <\/strong><\/h3>\n

2. Set Torrex Lite as the Default\u00a0program for .torrent files <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Search on the Start menu for “default programs<\/strong>” and click on the search result.<\/p>\n

This will open the Default Programs<\/strong> window. Click “Set your default programs<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Windows displays a list of installed programs. Select Torrex on the left<\/strong> and then click on the button “Set this program as default<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

3. Download a torrent file and Torrex will\u00a0start automatically<\/h3>\n

In Internet Explorer<\/a>, you can now download a Torrent file and start the download automatically with Torrex. In Internet Explorer, click on the appropriate link<\/strong> below and then on “Open<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

It automatically opens Torrex with the desired torrent file. A prompt on Start<\/strong> ensures the download loads correctly.<\/p>\n

At the bottom of the screen,<\/strong> you’ll see a\u00a0bar with more options<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Here you can set the speed limits for uploading and downloading and the maximum number of simultaneous connections for uTorrent and other torrent downloaders.<\/p>\n
