PopCap’s hilarious zombie strategy game, Plants vs. Zombies 2<\/a><\/em>, will be out on Android<\/a> some time this fall. Although Polygon<\/a><\/em> reports the game will come to Android next month in October, a spokesperson for Plants vs. Zombies could not confirm a solid release date beyond “later this fall.”<\/p>\n

Plants vs. Zombies 2<\/em> had its share of delays<\/a> this year, missing its July target by one month. PopCap wanted the game to be perfect before rolling it out for iOS<\/a> so the delayed Android release may need some polishing before it’s pushed out to users.<\/p>\n

EA did a great job with Plants vs. Zombies 2<\/em>, even though the game went free-to-play. Free games are often plagued by excessive in-app purchases but PvZ2<\/em> is a very balanced game. You can unlock levels and plants quicker by purchasing them or buying in-game currency to speed up your progress.<\/p>\n
