Clash of Clans is finally available on Android<\/a>, and it’s great news if you’re a\u00a0fan\u00a0of the game. If you’ve recently moved to an Android device, however, you may be worried about syncing your progress from iOS to Android! Lucky for you, you don’t have to worry too much: below is our tutorial that’ll help you easily transfer\u00a0your saved Clash of Clans game<\/strong> from your iPhone or iPad to your Android phone or tablet.<\/p>\n

1. Go to the tutorial<\/h3>\n

In order to sync accounts, you need to go through\u00a0the tutorial. Open the Clash of Clans app on your Android<\/a> device and go to the tutorial.\u00a0The village should look something like this:<\/p>\n

Start the account synchronization process from iOS to Android\u00a0by opening Settings, <\/strong>in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Connect with Google+<\/h3>\n

To load\u00a0a Clash of Clans game on your Android device that’s\u00a0saved on your iPhone or iPad, you must link your\u00a0account to\u00a0Google+. Click on the ‘Disconnected’ <\/strong>button beside\u00a0Google+ Sign-In<\/strong> and, if necessary, sign in.<\/p>\n

3. Select Privacy Settings<\/h3>\n

Once opened,\u00a0scroll down the page and select the privacy options. You can choose to keep your game activity private or make it publicly visible to those in your Google+ circles.<\/p>\n

4. Configure your Android device<\/h3>\n

The next step is connecting devices. Once you’re back in Settings, click on Devices <\/strong>and then click\u00a0‘Link a device’<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On the next screen, select ‘This is the NEW DEVICE’<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At this point, you’ll be asked to enter a\u00a0code. You’ll need to\u00a0get this code from your iOS device, so leave this screen open on your Android phone or tablet.<\/p>\n

5. Configure your iOS device<\/h3>\n

Open Clash of Clans on your\u00a0iPhone or iPad<\/a>. Again, go to the settings menu by accessing the icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Select\u00a0Devices <\/strong>and then ‘Link a device’.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once again, click on ‘This is the NEW DEVICE’<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On the next screen, click ‘I want to link to another device’<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

6. Generate the connection code<\/h3>\n

Clash of Clans on your\u00a0iOS device will generate a unique code that you’ll need to input in the\u00a0window you’ve left open on your\u00a0Android device.<\/p>\n

7. Enter the code on your Android device<\/h3>\n

Once you enter\u00a0the code on Android, you only have five minutes before the code becomes invalid. Note: as the disclaimer warns, the link will be permanent<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

8. Ready!<\/h3>\n

Once you’ve entered the\u00a0code correctly, your iOS game will\u00a0sync with your Android device. Click ‘Okay’, and your saved Clash of Clans game will be ready to play on Android!<\/p>\n

The game will automatically sync<\/strong> between both devices so that you can play on either device, just not at the same time!<\/p>\n

Clash of Clans has had great success on iOS. We’ll see if the Android version is as successful, but in the meantime, you can enjoy your hard work and progress on either your iOS and Android device!<\/p>\n
