It has been in preview for the last nine months, first debuting during Google&#8217;s I\/O developer conference. The redesign and new features are dramatic so Google has been cautious with a full rollout.<\/p>\n<p>The new Maps may be intimidating to new users but it does offer a more intuitive experience. When you search for something in Google Maps, you&#8217;ll be able to see tons of results on the map as well as suggestions at the top left. Google Earth is now integrated and provides satellite imagery and the new 3D view. Landmarks like San Francisco&#8217;s City Hall are rendered beautifully in 3D.
