I got a chance to meet with SongHi during the <strong>Game Developers Conference<\/strong> in San Francisco to check out the company\u2019s upcoming apps.<\/p>\n<p>The company plans on bringing music creation to the classroom with its studio tool. At the moment, it&#8217;s only available on the web but there are plans to bring it to more platforms and to expand its capabilities. It works like a simplified version of Apple\u2019s <a title=\"Apple GarageBand\" href=\"http:\/\/garageband.en.softonic.com\/mac\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">GarageBand<\/a> but with more instruments.<\/p>\n<p>Musicians will be able to <strong>share their creations<\/strong> on various social networks like <a title=\"Facebook tag\" href=\"http:\/\/news.en.softonic.com\/t\/facebook-tags\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook<\/a>. The company is even looking into publishing music to help musicians sell their music.<\/p>\n<p>SongHi has enlisted the help of <strong>Finnish popstar Robin<\/strong> to promote its music creation tool. If you&#8217;re not familiar with Robin, he&#8217;s basically the Justin Bieber of Finland. If you don&#8217;t believe me, check out the video below. Prizes for competition range from various band instruments to a private concert with Robin.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur goal is to facilitate an environment where creating and discovering music is done in a fluid and natural manner,\u201d said SongHi CEO, Jussi Aronen.<\/p>\n<p>The Ripple Audio Engine is at the core of SongHi&#8217;s apps. The engine was <strong>developed from the ground up<\/strong> to scale to whatever device you&#8217;re using. You have a limited number of turns to fill up a meter. Progress by chaining the longest possible combos. The gameplay isn&#8217;t new but Melody Match really serves as a demonstration of the SongHi&#8217;s Ripple Audio engine.<\/p>\n<p>The BoomBox competition will begin in Finland in a couple of weeks.
