April Fools is tomorrow but Google’s annual prank has already appeared. This year, Google<\/a> released a video about the Pok\u00e9mon Challenge<\/strong>, an augmented reality game. Search for Pok\u00e9mon using Google Maps<\/a> and catch them all.<\/p>\n

The video shows people rock climbing, fishing, and snapping pictures of Pok\u00e9mon using their phones. The graphics are within the realm of possibility but augmented reality is not this advanced yet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nHowever, Google has added 150 Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong> around the world using Google Maps. Android<\/a> and iOS<\/a> users can navigate to Google’s headquarters in Google Maps to begin their search for Pok\u00e9mon. There’s no update needed to start playing. <\/p>\n

A good place to start is the Googleplex, which has been recreated to look like a building in the Pok\u00e9mon games. Pan around the map and try to find all 150 Pok\u00e9mon, which includes a mix of monsters from all the various versions of the game. Once a Pok\u00e9mon is caught, you can view information about it in your Pok\u00e9dex.<\/p>\n
