They rate this <strong>rumor as 7\/10<\/strong>, which means it&#8217;ll likely be debuted soon, possibly at <a title=\"Google I\/O 2014\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/events\/io\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google I\/O<\/a> in June.<\/p>\n<p>Below, you can see icons for Google&#8217;s first-party apps like <a title=\"Gmail for Android\" href=\"http:\/\/gmail.en.softonic.com\/android\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gmail<\/a>, <a title=\"Google Calendar\" href=\"http:\/\/google-calendar.en.softonic.com\/android\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Calendar<\/a>, <a title=\"Google+ for Android\" href=\"http:\/\/google-plus.en.softonic.com\/android\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google+<\/a>, People, <a title=\"Chrome for Android\" href=\"http:\/\/google-plus.en.softonic.com\/android\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chrome<\/a>, and more. Google gets rid of shadowing, replacing it with darker colors to give its icons depth. Icons aren&#8217;t constrained to rounded squares like <a title=\"iOS tag\" href=\"http:\/\/news.en.softonic.com\/t\/ios\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iOS<\/a>, and can be made into any shape. Take the Camera icon for example.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-64673\" title=\"Android new camera icon\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2014\/04\/Android-new-camera-icon.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"86\" height=\"67\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Developers will have to change their icon design language if they want their app to feel native to Android.
