Just turn on the app and let it run in the background. If you misplace your phone, yell out “Marco”. Yelling “Marco” doesn’t always illicit a response from the phone, and you have to be careful with pronunciation in order to get a reaction. You can, however, change the voice of the app to 30 different “Polo” responses, and you can even customize the keyword so that you can yell out anything from “Columbus” to “Magellan” to find your phone. Running the app in the background will also take up a lot of battery life.

It’s not a replacement for your iPhone’s Find My Phone feature, but it’s a fun concept with $0.99 price tag that could just help you find that lost phone between couch cushions.

Download Marco Polo for iOS

Make sure to check out some of our past App of the Week features.

TuneIn Radio for iOS

KMPlayer for iOS and Android

Frontback for iOS

Softonic’s App of the Week highlights some of the coolest, most unique, and most interesting mobile apps for iOS and Android.
