The ad contains a description of the app which reads &#8220;One tap photo messaging,&#8221; and is cut off by a series of <a title=\"Add emojis to Instagram for Android\" href=\"http:\/\/features.en.softonic.com\/add-emojis-to-instagram-for-android\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">emojis<\/a>. Take a look yourself.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\">\n<p>Did anyone else get this weird bolt notification on their Instagram earlier? <a href=\"http:\/\/t.co\/SBrLH7qTTK\">pic.twitter.com\/SBrLH7qTTK<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; areli i (@yo_areli) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/yo_areli\/statuses\/492170778981318656\">July 24, 2014<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This leaked ad is interesting for two reasons: this may be Instagram&#8217;s answer to <strong>Snapchat<\/strong> (<a title=\"Snapchat for Android\" href=\"http:\/\/snapchat.en.softonic.com\/android\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Android<\/a> | <a title=\"Snapchat for iOS\" href=\"http:\/\/snapchat.en.softonic.com\/iphone\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iOS<\/a>) and Instagram is apparently testing <strong>in-app app installs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Facebook tag\" href=\"http:\/\/news.en.softonic.com\/t\/facebook-companies\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook<\/a>, which owns Instagram, already has its own Snapchat competitor called <strong>Slingshot<\/strong> (<a title=\"Slingshot for Android\" href=\"http:\/\/slingshot.en.softonic.com\/android\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Android<\/a> | <a title=\"Slingshot for iOS\" href=\"http:\/\/slingshot.en.softonic.com\/iphone\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iOS<\/a>). The app received <strong>lackluster reviews<\/strong> so it&#8217;s curious why Facebook would need another Snapchat-like app.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook has a history of testing features with a small number of users before rolling them out to the masses so this Bolt ad seems legitimate.
