With offline maps, you can create custom maps to help you get directions anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n<p>With the <a title=\"Google Maps for Android updates with terrain mode, interface tweaks\" href=\"http:\/\/news.en.softonic.com\/google-maps-android-8-1-update\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">update to version 8.0<\/a>, the steps have been simplified even more on smartphones and tablets.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Find<strong> the map you want to save<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Open\u00a0<a title=\"Google Maps for Android\" href=\"http:\/\/google-maps.en.softonic.com\/android\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Maps<\/a> and search for the location you need.
