Making animated GIFS doesn’t have to be difficult. There are plenty of websites that can turn photos and videos into animated GIFS but they still take a bit of effort. But there’s an easier way to do it; all you have to do is change the URL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

When you’re on YouTube watching a video and want to turn part of the video into an animated GIF, type “gif” in front of “youtube”<\/strong> in the video URL. For example, this URL https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=t5i-RJ3ATSY&list=UUDvJQzC6YfBdOmrbQGUekOg<\/a> turns into https:\/\/www.gif<\/strong>youtube.com\/watch?v=t5i-RJ3ATSY&list=UUDvJQzC6YfBdOmrbQGUekOg<\/a>.<\/p>\n

After a short wait, your video will load and you can select the start time and length of the GIF<\/strong> (between 1 and 10 seconds). When you’re happy with the result, click Create GIF<\/em> and wait a little more. The site will automatically generate an image for you, which you can download or link to directly.<\/p>\n

The site lacks customization or more advanced features but that’s the point. It’ll help you make and share animated GIFS quickly. You can share your creations directly to Facebook<\/strong>, Twitter<\/strong>, Reddit<\/strong>, and Tumblr<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
