Social network Twitter<\/a> updated its iPhone app<\/a> today with a new profile view that mirrors the profile view<\/a> on the web. Your cover photo, profile picture, and information is now easily glanceable.<\/p>\n

The profile section of the Twitter app features three sections for Tweets<\/em>, Photos<\/em> and Favorites<\/em>. This helps your content get discovered by new users much more easily.<\/p>\n

The app is updated to fully support iOS 8<\/a>, which was just released yesterday. Twitter added interactive notifications<\/strong> so you can retweet, favorite and follow someone right from the iOS 8 notification center. This means you can even interact with Twitter without unlocking your phone.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, this update doesn’t apply to the iPad<\/strong>, which would display the revamped profile pages nicely with its larger screen. No word when Android<\/a> users will get the update either.<\/p>\n
