However, &#8216;Paul Thurrot&#8217;s Super Site for Windows&#8217; is suggesting that it won&#8217;t actually be out until <strong>October<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>We have already seen lots of leaked information about the next version of Windows. The <strong>start menu<\/strong> is coming back, which will make a lot of people happy. This time it&#8217;s customizable, allowing for color changes and resizing. The Windows 8 touch-friendly start screen is still available as an alternative.<\/p>\n<p>Windows 9 will also get <a href=\"http:\/\/news.en.softonic.com\/video-windows-9-notification-and-multi-desktop-features\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">multiple desktops, like OS X, and a notification center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft&#8217;s September 30th event is aimed at &#8216;enterprise&#8217;, so may not be of much interest to most users. It&#8217;s likely they&#8217;ll address &#8216;consumers&#8217; at a later event.
