Twitter finally updated its Mac application<\/a> with features it introduced to its other apps earlier in the year. Now Mac users can post or view tweets with up to four attached photos. They will also be able to send and receive photos privately using direct messages.<\/p>\n

Both of these “new” features debuted on Twitter’s mobile applications earlier in the year<\/a>. Twitter’s focus has always been its mobile applications and it’s not surprising to see its desktop applications for Mac and Windows being ignored.<\/p>\n

Twitter for Mac works well if you just want the basics for Twitter. If you want more advanced features, check out the TweetDeck app for Chrome<\/a>, which lets you set up multiple columns for different feeds. You’ll also be able to schedule tweets in advance.<\/p>\n
