Facebook&#8217;s own Messenger app is free, but it has a sticker store which looks ready for monetization. WhatsApp doesn&#8217;t have any obvious space for monetization yet, although it could go the same route as <a href=\"http:\/\/line.en.softonic.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LINE<\/a> one day.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook has plenty of monetization methods itself, like the rumored <a href=\"http:\/\/news.en.softonic.com\/will-you-be-able-to-pay-with-facebook-messenger-soon\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pay via Messenger<\/a> which could be a PayPal competitor.
