There’s an Undo button, and a Passport feature that lets you search for people outside your region.

Tinder is an app for meeting people and dating, and works by matching you with other users from your area, from an age range you specify. You look through user’s photos like a deck of cards, swiping left if you’re not interested, and right if you are. When two users both swipe right on each-other, they are ‘matched’ and can begin chatting in the app. Until now, it has been completely free.

According to Rad, the undo button is Tinder’s most requested feature. Many people accidentally swipe left (reject) other users by mistake, and there’s no way of going back. Now there will be a big yellow ‘Undo’ button on the app to allow you to return to people you missed accidentally. The button will be there whether you pay for it or not, but you will have to pay to use it.

The second premium feature is Passport. This will allow you to check out Tinder users in other locations, perhaps before arriving at a holiday destination or business trip. This would allow you to find similarly minded people, or get recommendations for activities using Tinder.

Tinder’s premium features could arrive as soon as Thursday, November 6th, but not in the US right away. They will be tested first in the UK, Brazil and Germany (among others), and will only be available to 40% of the user base to begin with. Pricing is also to be tested, from $0.99 all the way up to $19.99, to find out what works best.

Download Tinder for iPhone or Android.

Source/Image: TechCrunch

Related Stories

Premium features coming soon to dating app Tinder

Study: Social networks can spread sadness

Tinder introducing ‘verified accounts’ for celebrities

Follow Jonathan on Twitter: @jonathanriggall

Tinder has now announced the premium features hinted at by now-President of the company Sean Rad.
