But it&#8217;s also got a lot of people confused. Didn&#8217;t the double check mark already mean that? This is particularly useful in <strong>group chats<\/strong>, where WhatsApp only displays the grey check.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-110951\" title=\"WhatsApp Message Info\" src=\"\" alt=\"\" width=\"568\" height=\"461\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-110954 alignleft\" title=\"icon-info\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2018\/10\/WhatsApp-angry.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"34\" height=\"34\" \/><\/strong>To know who&#8217;s read the message and at what time, press and hold down on the message and click on<em> Info<\/em> for <strong>iPhone<\/strong>, or click the small info button on <strong>Android.<\/strong> You&#8217;ll get a new Window which shows exactly who has read the message, and when.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-110952\" title=\"Message Info\" src=\"\" alt=\"\" width=\"568\" height=\"531\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Be careful with the double blue check<\/h3>\n<p>Seeing the double blue check doesn&#8217;t necessarily mean the message has been read.
