{"id":77659,"date":"2014-12-04T16:08:08","date_gmt":"2014-12-04T14:08:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/onsoftware.en.softonic.com\/?p=77659"},"modified":"2025-07-02T00:19:43","modified_gmt":"2025-07-02T07:19:43","slug":"1997s-tomb-raider-ii-out-now-on-ios","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cms-articles.softonic.io\/en\/1997s-tomb-raider-ii-out-now-on-ios\/","title":{"rendered":"1997&#8217;s Tomb Raider II out now on iOS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Square Enix has just released <strong>Tomb Raider II<\/strong> for iOS, meaning you can now play Lara Croft&#8217;s second adventure on your <a href=\"http:\/\/en.softonic.com\/iphone\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch<\/a>, as long as you have iOS 7.0 or above.<\/p>\n<p>Originally released in 1997, Tomb Raider II didn&#8217;t change much from <a href=\"http:\/\/tomb-raider.en.softonic.com\/iphone\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the original<\/a> adventure puzzle game, giving players improved graphics and bigger levels to explore. In 2014, the graphics aren&#8217;t going to impress anyone, but it&#8217;s still a big adventure to play through, and will appeal to anyone <strong>nostalgic about the series<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Like many console ports, you&#8217;ll have to cope with touchscreen controls which are less than ideal, unless you have an external controller.
