According <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/apple-patented-a-way-for-an-iphone-to-enter-panic-mode-when-unlocked-with-a-specific-finger-2015-11\">Business Insider<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2015\/11\/05\/apple-patents-touch-id-panic-mode\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mac Rumours<\/a>, the panic button could be activated when a predefined finger is used to unlock your device.<\/p>\n<p>When &#8216;panic mode&#8217; is activated, the device could be instructed to <strong>&#8216;lock down&#8217; to prevent a breach of personal data and information<\/strong>, and your <strong>position could be broadcasted to the authorities<\/strong> (or possibly even nearby devices).<\/p>\n<p>It is obviously too early to speculate when this will be implemented, if at all.
