These viruses are disguised as official emails from the messaging service themselves, \u00a0warning users that they have either a missed call, a pending audio recording or simply a notification. The malware runs when the user clicks on the link, leaving your PC infected.<\/p>\n
The malware is a variant of the \u201cNivdort\u201d family, a family of malware that replicates itself on different system files.<\/p>\n
\u201cCybercriminals are becoming more and more like marketers \u2013 trying to use creative subject lines to have unsuspecting emails be clicked and opened to spread malware\u201d, says Comodo.<\/p>\n
