Then you remember about Microsoft\u2019s special feature<\/strong> that automatically recovers unsaved documents, but then you realized that it actually hasn\u2019t saved at all.<\/p>\n

Fear not! <\/strong>There is still a way to recover the ultimate version of the document, however you can\u2019t do this in Word<\/strong> itself.<\/p>\n

How to recover your document:<\/h3>\n

1)      Use the Windows<\/em> key (on your keyboard) to open the Windows Start Menu<\/em><\/p>\n

2)      Click on File Explorer<\/em><\/p>\n

3)      Select This PC<\/em> on the left-hand side<\/p>\n

4)      Type .asd<\/strong> in the search bar and click Enter<\/em><\/p>\n

Your most recent document will appear in the results! All you have to  do is simply click on it! The document will open in Word, giving you a second chance to save it!<\/p>\n
