Avast is one of the most famous Antivirus programs out there.<\/strong> Well-known for being a true guardian of your security on Windows machines. Each time a new version is released great new features are added to make the newest version of Avast the must have security option for your PC. This year is no exception. Avast Antivirus 2017 has 3 brand new features<\/strong> and several other improvements over last year\u2019s version. Let us have a look at all of them now:<\/p>\n

Three great new ways to take control<\/h2>\n

Avast 2017 includes, in every version (Free, Internet security, Premier and Pro), two brand new modes that\u2019ll be useful on all PCs. Game Mode<\/strong> and Passive Mode<\/strong>. On top of these new modes there is also the new Behavior Shield<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Game Mode<\/strong> is the antivirus setting that every gamer needs. With Game Mode, Avast 2017 will ensure optimized performance whilst silencing all types of notifications during your gameplay.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As well as shielding you from system notifications (vital in online games) Game Mode will optimize your PCs performance<\/strong> by preventing other processes from beginning whilst you\u2019re playing games. No resources will be diverted for running updates for example, they\u2019ll be reserved exclusively for the game that you\u2019re playing.<\/p>\n

Avast 2017\u2019s other great new feature is the Passive Mode, which is perfect for anybody who is enthusiastic about their online security. Passive Mode is designed for use with another antivirus program<\/strong>. You can run Avast in Passive Mode whilst another program is running real-time protection. This leaves you with an enhanced security level without running the risk of a compatibility problem between the two antivirus programs.<\/p>\n
