Implement the 3-2-1 backup plan<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>Ransomware gives the hacker power, because you are worried about losing your data and will pay to get it back. When you <strong>have backups of all your data<\/strong> then you&#8217;ll have a <strong>lot less to worry about\u00a0<\/strong>if somebody asks you for money to access the files to which they&#8217;ve blocked access.<\/p>\n<p>Security experts agree that the <strong>3-2-1 rule is the only guarantee<\/strong> that your data will be truly protected. The 3-2-1 rule involves having <strong>three\u00a0copies<\/strong> of all the data you want to back up: <strong>the original copy, a physical back up on an external hard-drive, and a virtual backup on a cloud-based service<\/strong>.
