Google Image search now has a scrumptious new feature that allows you to search for recipes and and then choose the best recipe to follow based on pictures of the finished dish<\/strong>. Obviously, you\u2019ve been able to search for recipes using Google for a while now but this new feature offers the results in a much more enticing manner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A standard Google search for a recipe often resulted in a single top recipe taking up all of your screen<\/strong> with some basic recipe information also visible. Now though, if you click over to image search you\u2019ll be faced with wall to wall foodie goodness. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The image search recipe fuction offers a lot more choice to the user than running a standard Google search<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

If a recipe is associated\u00a0with the image there\u2019ll be a new recipe\u00a0tag<\/strong> in the bottom left-hand corner of the thumbnail. Clicking this will give you a similar view to that given to the top recipe of a standard search. If you decide this is the one for you, you simply click visit page and you\u2019re good to go.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have \"Watchnoticed that not all images come\u00a0associated with\u00a0recipes but that some of the recipes are in fact videos<\/strong>. If there is a video of the recipe on YouTube then you\u2019ll be able to go straight to it via the Google Image Search function. All you have to do is click Watch<\/strong> and you\u2019re away.<\/p>\n

This new feature will make it easier to go through different recipes<\/strong> until you get the one you want. Rather than just getting the basic info on the top recipe you\u2019ll be able to click on the images you think look best<\/strong>, get some basic info about the recipe and if you like it head the site were the recipe is hosted. This should make it easier for you to find the recipe you want and may even save you a little time.<\/p>\n

For now the new feature is only available on mobile<\/strong> but we\u2019re hoping it\u2019ll come to desktop search soon. Watch this space.<\/p>\n
