Below, we\u2019ll tell you how to disable them according to the browser you\u2019re using.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Google Chrome (laptop)<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To disable Chrome notifications, copy this address <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">hrome:\/\/settings\/content\/notifications <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and paste it in your browser. You\u2019ll see that you\u2019ve got two options: <\/span><b>\u201cBlock\u201d and \u201cAllow.\u201d <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Under \u201cAllow,\u201d look for the web page you want to stop receiving notifications for, click on the three vertical dots beside it and then select \u201cBlock.\u201d It\u2019s that easy!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Google Chrome (cell phone)<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Go to \u201cSettings\u201d (by tapping on the three vertical dots in the top right). Press \u201cWeb page settings\u201d and then \u201cNotifications.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">If you want to stop receiving permission requests for notifications, disable the \u201cAsk before allowing websites to send notifications (recommended)\u201d option to \u201cBlocked.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Want to disable specific notifications? Below, you\u2019ll have two options: allowed and blocked notifications. Select one that is allowed and then the \u201cNotifications\u201d option to block it. Easy peasy.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Mozilla Firefox (laptop)<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To disable notifications on <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Firefox<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, copy this address <\/span><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">about:preferences#content<\/span><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and paste it in your browser to access the \u201cContent\u201d section of Firefox Options. Click on \u201cSelect.\u201d A list with all the notifications you\u2019ve allowed or blocked to date will show up. <\/span><b>Look for the website you no longer want to receive notifications from and select \u201cRemove site.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">When you go to that page again, <\/span><b>it will once again ask for permission to send you notifications <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(unless you\u2019ve enabled the \u201cDo not disturb me\u201d option). Select that you don\u2019t want to receive notifications. Case closed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Unfortunately, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">there\u2019s no easier way to block specific notifications on <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Firefox<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Mozilla Firefox (cell phone)<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">For now, there\u2019s only one very basic way to disable notifications for this version of Firefox. You must go to the page that you want to disable notifications for and click on the Control Center (<\/span><b>the green lock to the left of the URL<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-93616\" src=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/sft\/articles\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2017\/09\/2016-07-18-15-42-33-81e41b.png\" alt=\"2016-07-18-15-42-33-81e41b\" width=\"320\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2017\/09\/2016-07-18-15-42-33-81e41b.png 320w, https:\/\/articles-img.sftcdn.net\/auto-mapping-folder\/sites\/3\/2017\/09\/2016-07-18-15-42-33-81e41b-300x211.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Then select \u201cEdit site settings.\u201d <\/span><b>Tap the white square to \u201ccheck\u201d it<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and then press \u201cClear.\u201d This way, the website will stop sending you notifications unless you go back and give it permission.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Microsoft Edge (Windows 10)<\/h3>\n<p>To get started, click on the Over Edge section at the top right of the window. It&#8217;s a three-dot horizontal icon.
