Children are adept at finding ways around the restrictions adults try to place on them so it is best to not take too many chances. Enable Restrictions<\/h3>\n<p>This will give you control of all that can be accessed from the iPad<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to <strong>Settings<\/strong> &gt;&gt;&gt; <strong>General<\/strong> &gt;&gt;&gt; <strong>Restrictions<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Enable Restrictions and choose your Secret Pin<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now you have control you can use the Restrictions menu to:<\/p>\n<h3>2. Disable Web Browsers and other Unsuitable Apps<\/h3>\n<p>Select which Apps you will Allow your kids to access<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can Switch each app to <strong>Don\u2019t Allow <\/strong>and\u2026<\/li>\n<li>You can <strong>Restrict Apps based on age rating<\/strong> via the <strong>Allowed Content<\/strong> section<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>3. Disable Installing Apps<\/h3>\n<p>Stop your kids from installing any new apps on the iPad<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Simply <strong>flip the Installing Apps switch to off<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Do the same for <strong>Deleting Apps<\/strong> to keep all your current apps safe<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>4. Disable In-App Purchases<\/h3>\n<p>Avoid having to pay $$$$$ for pixelated \u201cFairy Sparkles\u201d or \u201cUnicorn Kisses\u201d<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This switch is found <strong>below the Deleting Apps<\/strong> switch<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>5. Disable Location Services<\/h3>\n<p>So your kids can\u2019t inadvertently share their location with strangers<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scroll down to <strong>Privacy<\/strong> and then hit <strong>Location Services<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select which apps to restrict or block them all<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Don\u2019t Allow Changes<\/strong> to lock these settings in place<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>6. Keep your Account Protected<\/h3>\n<p>Make sure none of your Mail, Contacts or Calendar events get deleted or modified<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scroll down to the <strong>Allow Changes<\/strong> section<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Don\u2019t Allow Changes for Accounts<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>7. Restrict Access to Game Center<\/h3>\n<p>Stop your kids playing multiplayer games with strangers<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scroll down to <strong>Game Center<\/strong> in the Restrictions menu<\/li>\n<li>Disable <strong>Multiplayer Games<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>8. Set Content Limits<\/h3>\n<p>Only give your kids access to content that is suitable for them<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go to the <strong>Allowed Content<\/strong> section of the Restrictions menu<\/li>\n<li>Go through each type of content and <strong>set what can and can\u2019t be accessed<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now go back to <strong>Settings<\/strong> and open the <strong>Passcode<\/strong> menu:<\/p>\n<h3>9.
