Once there, the insides of Facebook will be at our disposal via a page that shows your privacy on the social network. Mind you, the first section you should click on is: <\/span>Who can see my stuff?\u00a0<\/b>Our advice is to simply select just <\/span>Friends.<\/b>\u00a0This way, all your content will be protected from the eyes of those who want to spy on your account (they won\u2019t be able to access your photos or posts). <\/span><\/p>\n

On the other hand, in case you don\u2019t like to get friend requests, changing the settings of <\/span>Who can send you friend requests?<\/b>\u00a0is another section you should keep in mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

Timeline and tagging<\/b><\/h2>\n

We\u2019ve already restricted access to just our <\/span>friends. Now it’s time to avoid sharing awkward moments on our account, because even friends don’t want to see that.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the section <\/span>Timeline and tagging<\/b>, we have a wide range of options to avoid having posts that we\u2019re tagged in appear on our personal profile. So, let\u2019s give a typical practical example: A friend uploads a photo of you drinking a beer, and you don\u2019t want your coworkers to see it, especially your boss. <\/span><\/p>\n

To prevent this, you only need to go to the <\/span>Tagging\u00a0<\/b>section and change the subsection <\/span>Who can see posts you\u2019re tagged in on your timeline?<\/b>\u00a0Choose the one that best fits your needs and say bye-bye to trouble.<\/span><\/p>\n
