Niantic have announced that following an upcoming update it\u2019ll <strong>no longer be supporting Pok\u00e9mon Go on devices that aren\u2019t capable of upgrading to iOS 11<\/strong>. Niantic said:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis change is a result of improvements to Pok\u00e9mon GO that push the application beyond the capabilities of the operating systems on such devices.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For those affected this rather nasty change will<strong> come into effect on 28<sup>th<\/sup> February 2018<\/strong>. Users with iPhones or iPads that can\u2019t upgrade will no longer be able to access their Pok\u00e9mon Go accounts from that device and will <strong>need to switch to a supported device to continue playing Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/strong>.
