Voice messaging is an extremely useful and fun feature on WhatsApp. Being able to send audio notes adds a brand new dimension to your messaging experience. There is one annoying thing about WhatsApp voice messaging, however: you have to hold your finger on the microphone icon to record and send your voice note. Finally, Android users will soon be getting the \u2018locked record\u2019 <\/b>function.<\/p>\n

According to the guys at WABetaInfo<\/a>, the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android is already shipping with the locked record function.<\/b> This means that WhatsApp\u2019s beta testers already have it and once WhatsApp has analyzed the data they collect,\u00a0we could start to see the feature added to all versions of WhatsApp in the near future.<\/b><\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve read any of our other articles about WhatsApp updates, however, you\u2019ll know that features appearing in the WhatsApp beta does not guarantee that they\u2019ll find their way into the regular app. We\u2019ll just have to wait and see.<\/p>\n
