Este m\u00e9todo elimina la necesidad de sistemas de propulsi\u00f3n pesados, lo que <strong>permitir\u00eda misiones m\u00e1s largas con menores costes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin embargo, la eficacia de las velas solares se ha visto hist\u00f3ricamente obstaculizada por las <strong>limitaciones de los materiales utilizados para las botavaras<\/strong>, las estructuras que mantienen las velas en su sitio, similares al m\u00e1stil de un velero. La \u00faltima iniciativa de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.softonic.com\/articulos\/esta-impresionante-antena-de-la-nasa-quiere-conquistar-el-espacio-profundo\">NASA<\/a> pretende superar estas dificultades con un <strong>dise\u00f1o de vanguardia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/general\/nasa-next-generation-solar-sail-boom-technology-ready-for-launch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">misi\u00f3n ACS3<\/a> desplegar\u00e1 un <strong>CubeSat de doce unidades (12U)<\/strong>, construido por NanoAvionics, para probar un innovador brazo de material compuesto fabricado con una mezcla de pol\u00edmero flexible y fibra de carbono.
