El viernes, la agencia espacial estadounidense anunci\u00f3 que <strong>ha seleccionado a siete empresas<\/strong>, incluidas <strong>SpaceX<\/strong>, de Elon Musk, y <strong>Blue Origin<\/strong>, de Jeff Bezos, para <strong>estudiar m\u00e9todos m\u00e1s econ\u00f3micos para transportar muestras del planeta rojo<\/strong>. Entre las empresas seleccionadas se encuentran grandes nombres como <strong>Lockheed Martin<\/strong> y <strong>Northrop Grumman<\/strong>, as\u00ed como dos firmas m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as, <strong>Quantum Space<\/strong> y <strong>Whittinghill Aerospace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El administrador de la NASA, <strong>Bill Nelson<\/strong>, destac\u00f3 en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/news-release\/nasa-exploring-alternative-mars-sample-return-methods\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">un comunicado de la NASA<\/a> la importancia de esta misi\u00f3n, describi\u00e9ndola como una de las m\u00e1s complejas jam\u00e1s emprendidas por la agencia. &#8220;El Retorno de muestras de Marte ser\u00e1 <strong>una de las misiones m\u00e1s complejas que ha emprendido la NASA<\/strong>, y es fundamental que la llevemos a cabo m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidamente, con menos riesgos y a un coste menor&#8221;, afirm\u00f3 Nelson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lockheed Martin, con experiencia en aterrizajes exitosos en Marte, y Northrop Grumman, colaborar\u00e1n en el desarrollo del <strong>veh\u00edculo de ascenso a Marte<\/strong>. <strong>Aerojet Rocketdyne<\/strong>, conocido por su propulsi\u00f3n de cohetes, tambi\u00e9n contribuir\u00e1 con un estudio sobre un veh\u00edculo de ascenso a Marte de alto rendimiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SpaceX, con su visi\u00f3n a largo plazo para Marte, propone en su estudio <strong>utilizar su cohete Starship para &#8220;facilitar el retorno de muestras&#8221;<\/strong>. Aunque Elon Musk ha fallado en anteriores predicciones sobre el futuro aterrizaje en Marte, el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.softonic.com\/articulos\/brutal-camara-ultralenta-del-despegue-de-la-nave-espacial-starship-de-spacex\">\u00faltimo vuelo de prueba con \u00e9xito de Starship<\/a> muestra un progreso tangible. Quantum, fundada en 2021, se enfocar\u00e1 en un estudio llamado <strong>&#8220;Quantum Anchor Leg Mars Sample Return Study&#8221;<\/strong>. Whittinghill Aerospace se centrar\u00e1 en el <strong>&#8220;dise\u00f1o r\u00e1pido de un veh\u00edculo de ascenso de una sola etapa&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nicola Fox<\/strong>, directora cient\u00edfica de la NASA, expres\u00f3 su optimismo sobre encontrar conceptos innovadores para <strong>adelantar la misi\u00f3n a la d\u00e9cada de 2030<\/strong>.
