Sin embargo, la etapa superior, encargada de transportar <strong>20 sat\u00e9lites Starlink<\/strong> a la \u00f3rbita terrestre baja, sufri\u00f3 una <strong>fuga de ox\u00edgeno l\u00edquido<\/strong>, provocando que el motor <strong>Merlin Vacuum<\/strong> no completara su segundo encendido, necesario para elevar el perigeo de la \u00f3rbita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;El motor Merlin Vacuum experiment\u00f3 una anomal\u00eda y no pudo completar su segundo encendido&#8221;, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spacex.com\/launches\/mission\/?missionId=sl-9-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">explic\u00f3<\/a> SpaceX un d\u00eda despu\u00e9s. A pesar de esto, la etapa superior despleg\u00f3 los sat\u00e9lites, pero <strong>quedaron en una \u00f3rbita exc\u00e9ntrica con un perigeo de solo 135 km, muy por debajo de lo esperado<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los ingenieros de SpaceX intentaron elevar las \u00f3rbitas de los sat\u00e9lites utilizando los propulsores i\u00f3nicos a bordo, pero <strong>el esfuerzo fue infructuoso<\/strong>. &#8220;Es poco probable que nuestro m\u00e1ximo empuje disponible sea suficiente para elevar con \u00e9xito los sat\u00e9lites&#8221;, se\u00f1al\u00f3 SpaceX. Hasta ahora, ha realizado 13 misiones tripuladas, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.softonic.com\/articulos\/nasa-novedades-artemis-spacex\">nueve de ellas a la ISS<\/a>. La empresa deber\u00e1 investigar la causa de la anomal\u00eda del jueves en colaboraci\u00f3n con la FAA. &#8220;SpaceX llevar\u00e1 a cabo una investigaci\u00f3n completa, determinar\u00e1 la causa ra\u00edz y tomar\u00e1 medidas correctivas&#8221;, explic\u00f3 la compa\u00f1\u00eda, destacando <strong>su capacidad para recuperarse r\u00e1pidamente<\/strong> debido a su \u201calta cadencia de lanzamiento\u201d y a su \u201crobusta producci\u00f3n de sat\u00e9lites y cohetes\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente, la mayor\u00eda de las misiones Falcon 9 se dedican a la <strong>megaconstelaci\u00f3n Starlink<\/strong>, que cuenta con <strong>m\u00e1s de 6.100 sat\u00e9lites operativos<\/strong>.
