O<strong>riginalement pr\u00e9vu pour la console PlayStation 3, le jeu a rencontr\u00e9 des difficult\u00e9s de performance qui le faisaient tourner \u00e0 un taux de rafra\u00eechissement remarquablement bas, entre 10 et 15 FPS<\/strong>. Face \u00e0 ces probl\u00e8mes mat\u00e9riels persistants et pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la vision ambitieuse de son directeur, Fumito Ueda, l&#8217;\u00e9quipe de d\u00e9veloppement a pris la d\u00e9cision de transf\u00e9rer la production sur la PlayStation 4, ce qui a impliqu\u00e9 de recommencer une grande partie de la programmation \u00e0 z\u00e9ro.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00abThe Last Guardian\u00bb a pu \u00eatre achev\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la confiance de Sony<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Shuhei Yoshida, v\u00e9t\u00e9ran de PlayStation, a r\u00e9cemment parl\u00e9 de ce parcours ardu, soulignant l&#8217;importance du soutien interne de Sony dans l&#8217;arriv\u00e9e du jeu sur le march\u00e9. Lors du Taipei Game Show 2025, <strong>Yoshida a soulign\u00e9 que, sans l&#8217;intervention de PlayStation, The Last Guardian n&#8217;aurait probablement pas surv\u00e9cu dans un environnement \u00e9ditorial conventionnel<\/strong>. Cependant, <strong>Ueda a cr\u00e9\u00e9 un nouveau studio avec l&#8217;ancien programmeur principal d&#8217;Ico et Shadow of the Colossus, Jinji Horagai, ce qui a permis \u00e0 Sony de terminer le projet<\/strong>.
