Consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme l&#8217;un des \u00e9checs au box-office de la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e, la NASA l&#8217;a inclus dans sa liste des sept films les moins r\u00e9alistes en 2011, se classant au deuxi\u00e8me rang, juste derri\u00e8re 2012.<strong> L&#8217;intrigue tourne autour d&#8217;une pr\u00e9misse extr\u00eame : l&#8217;id\u00e9e que le noyau de la Terre a cess\u00e9 de tourner et que la solution est de faire exploser une bombe nucl\u00e9aire pour relancer sa rotation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Un film avec une base scientifique nulle<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Des experts en g\u00e9ophysique, parmi lesquels l&#8217;astrophysicien Roland Lehoucq et la sismologue Jackie Caplan-Auerbach, ont soulign\u00e9 les nombreuses inexactitudes du film. Selon Lehoucq, Le Noyau pr\u00e9sente \u00ab des conceptions erron\u00e9es des lois de la physique, des exploits techniques ridicules et des inventions scientifiques pures \u00bb. <strong>Caplan-Auerbach critique que, bien que le film mentionne correctement que le champ magn\u00e9tique de la Terre provient de son noyau, il sugg\u00e8re incorrectement que cette fonction d\u00e9pend de la rotation du noyau interne<\/strong>.
