Netflix is bringing The Lincoln Lawyer to a close with Season 5, and production on that final run is already underway.
Season 3 premiered on October 17, 2024, with 10 episodes. Season 4 arrived in early 2026, so there’s still one full season left before Mickey Haller’s story wraps up.
For anyone who’s been missing Bosch, The Lincoln Lawyer has filled that space pretty easily. The series adapts Michael Connelly’s work and stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Los Angeles defense attorney Mickey Haller, a lawyer who works out of a Lincoln Navigator. It’s a legal drama, not a police procedural, but the Los Angeles setting, the case-of-the-week rhythm, and that same Connelly sensibility have made it a natural replacement for a lot of viewers.
Which is why the ending comes as a surprise. Season 1 pulled in more than 260 million hours watched in four weeks, and Season 4 opened with 9 million views in four days, then hit 2.54 billion minutes in its second week to become the No. 1 streaming show. Showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez say they’re ending it on purpose and want to give Mickey Haller a proper sendoff, even though Netflix still hasn’t said much about international numbers or any spin-off plans.
If that Bosch-style crime-drama pull is the reason you watch The Lincoln Lawyer, this news will land a little harder.
You can stream the available seasons of The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix now while the final season is still being made.
