In a surprising turn within the video game industry, it has been reported that nearly 20 developers of The Callisto Protocol were not included in the game’s credits, a phenomenon that has raised growing concern among professionals in the field. The lack of recognition for these contributors highlights a recurring problem in the industry, where some voices are dismissed due to administrative decisions.
A truly engaged developer
However, in the midst of this controversy, an independent developer known as Twilight Moonflower has decided to adopt a completely opposite strategy. In an attempt to include everyone who liked his post on Twitter, the developer committed to recognizing all his followers in the credits of his upcoming horror title. While his initial expectation was only 100 names, his post went viral, accumulating the astonishing figure of 60,000 likes.
This phenomenon led to an unusual result: a sequence of credits that extends for approximately half an hour. The developer revealed that fulfilling this promise took him more than 300 hours of work, reflecting a strong commitment both to the community and to recognizing his development team. “Even if it was just a little recognition,” he said, he felt compelled to give all his followers a space in the final credit.
This is not the first time a study has opted for this strategy. In 2025, the creator of Dragon’s Chronicles also implemented a similar approach, including 226,000 names in the credits of his game. This type of event highlights how social media is influencing recognition dynamics within the industry, creating spaces that are as broad as they are unpredictable.

Recently, Quentin Tarantino made a disparaging comment about actor Matthew Lillard, which generated mixed reactions among the audience. While some supported the director’s opinion, a significant portion of the public sided with Lillard, defending his talent and closeness to fans. In response to the controversy, Lillard chose not to engage in the criticism and focused on the support he received from the public.
A man who embraces the affection of his fans
The actor expressed his surprise upon realizing that many assumed his career could be negatively affected by Tarantino’s words. However, the result was quite the opposite. Lillard highlighted that the affection from his audience became evident, reaffirming his position as a talented and beloved actor. “I can’t dwell on negativity, I prefer to enjoy the support they show by demonstrating that my work is valued,” Lillard commented.
Despite Tarantino’s influence within the industry, famous for provoking intense reactions with his opinions, Lillard has decided to prioritize the opinion of his followers. In an environment where criticism can have a significant impact on an artist’s career, the actor shows that his connection with the audience is more important than the disapproval of prominent figures in cinema.
In times when social media amplifies both praise and criticism, Lillard’s stance suggests a lesson about resilience and the importance of community support. With his positive approach, the actor reaffirms his commitment to his professional journey, suggesting that his connection with fans is a fundamental pillar that will continue to guide him in his career.

Fans of horror and the world of video games have an imminent appointment with Bloober Team, the Polish studio responsible for titles like Silent Hill 2 Remake and Cronos: The New Dawn. The company has activated a countdown that ends on February 15, which has sparked a wave of speculation among the fan community about their next project.
Rule of Rose could be your next project
Since the countdown began, Bloober Team has shared cryptic messages, which has fueled theories surrounding a possible remake of Rule of Rose, a cult title released in 2006 that has remained in the collective memory due to its peculiar narrative and controversial themes. The studio’s recent post includes a message that reads: “Some things never leave the walls… they just learn to wait…”, along with an icon of a rose, an element that has rekindled enthusiasm for the possibility of returning to the disturbing story of Jennifer and the orphans in a nightmare world.
Rule of Rose was known not only for its unsettling atmosphere but also for the controversy it sparked in Poland due to its themes of violence and sexuality. Its release was canceled in several countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. Despite these hurdles, many consider the title to have reached cult status, which has led to fervent speculation about a possible remake as its 20th anniversary approaches in 2026.
In addition to the hints about Rule of Rose, the name “Onyx: The Dark Grip” has been registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, which could suggest that the big announcement is not a remake, but a new project from the studio. With these possibilities at play, the anticipation for the countdown’s conclusion continues to grow, and fans are eagerly awaiting February 15 to learn about Bloober Team’s final revelation.

A Tumultuous and Passionate Movie
Critics have described the film as an exquisite spectacle, highlighting the craftsmanship behind its costumes, cinematography, and production design. The chemistry between Elordi and Robbie, who portray the tragic lovers Heathcliff and Cathy, has been noted as a highlight, with comments on the intense sexual tension that emanates from their joint performance. “Only Emerald can take a classic, turn it upside down, make you go crazy with desire, and then destroy your soul,” comments Jazz Tangcay from Variety, capturing the emotional impact of the film.
In addition to its protagonists, the cast includes actors such as Hong Chau, Alison Oliver, Ewen Mitchell, and Owen Cooper, who help enrich the narrative. The soundtrack, featuring music by Charli XCX, complements the love and obsession story between the main characters, intensifying the audience’s emotions throughout the film.

If you publish videos daily, you know that it’s often not about editing faster, but about being able to edit without constant chaos behind you. Between changes, creating different versions for each platform, late arrival of resources, and multiple revisions, improving our processes can help us be more efficient. And with Premiere, it can be straightforward.
Here you will see how to reduce video production time from start to finish with a practical and repeatable approach, with asset preparation in Illustrator (with quick variants using Adobe Firefly) so that editing in Premiere Pro is smoother, more predictable, and easier to manage. Select shortcode
Why video production is still too slow for marketing teams
Video production remains slow in marketing because the workload keeps increasing. The time is not spent so much on editing, but on coordinating, deciding, reviewing, and re-versioning the same thing over and over again, not to mention the numerous exports to adapt to different platforms.
There are other situations that create bottlenecks, such as assets arriving late, inconsistent material, and lengthy conversations between different departments. Without a well-established system of predefined templates, brand adjustments become heavier and heavier. Fortunately, an effective editing system is needed to cope with any inconvenience.
Where is the most time actually lost in video production?
To begin designing an editing system, you first need to identify where your time is going. It could be in asset creation: perhaps you have too many variations of the same design or too many color changes that, ultimately, are not that necessary.
There may also be inconsistent formats or too much internal bureaucracy. Changes that do not contribute anything, decision-making without criteria, lack of direction… The important thing is that you truly analyze the situation and be honest with yourself.
The role of Illustrator + Firefly in faster video production
The combination of several programs, such as Illustrator and Firefly, with Premiere can enhance the quality and speed of your video editing. Illustrator is the perfect tool for creating eye-catching designs, custom iconography, and original graphics.
On the other hand, if we use Firefly well, it can help us generate visual ideas, propose quick alternatives, and even assist us in creating visuals. This is not about making the artistic process robotic, but about “smoothing out” the rough edges that a professional production may have.
A practical end-to-end workflow for marketing videos
We are going to suggest a realistic workflow so you can see how each program can help us create a video quickly with Premiere.
Now, we will set up a design kit within Illustrator to use in Premiere. We will need to create different templates according to the formats we need, with guides and safe areas. We will also need modular components, with logos, drawings, or illustrations. This will save you a lot of time in the future.
Next, we will start by defining the requirements for the videos. This includes the formats we will use (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 16:9), the sizes, the durations, and mandatory messages that we will need to include, as well as the languages. In this case, we are going to choose to create an Instagram reel.
We click on New Project and then, we write the name of our project. We can also choose the location of the project, which is where it will be saved on our computer. In Template we can choose Social Media Template Project.
Next, we choose the media we want to import into our project and select Import. An Instagram reel has dimensions of 1080 x 1920 pixels. If the sequence you have open does not have that format, go to Sequence and then to the Video section. In Frame Size, enter the dimensions. Click OK and continue.
You can also change the sequence measures within the Project panel. By choosing the Social Media Template Project, we will see the formats for different social networks: YouTube, TikTok, etc. You can choose one of them from there.
At this moment, we can use Fireflyto quickly explore ideas. In case we need funding, secondary visual patterns, or any supporting element, Firefly can help us create them quickly. Always ensure they are consistent with your content.
One of the most useful features here is Generate Vectors. With it, you can create an icon, an element, or even a vector scene and then retouch it by hand if necessary. To use it, click on the Rectangle tool, drag the mouse to draw the shape, and then click on Generate Vectors. In the context menu, describe what you want to generate.
It is good for the process to dedicate an entire day to creating material that you can use later. Backgrounds, short videos, logos, icons… organize the content by format and types of scenes. It is very important that you establish a nomenclature that the team knows to name things. This way, the editors will always know what they are working with.
Reducing Revisions with Better Asset Preparation
Reviews decrease when the foundations are clear from the beginning. To reduce them, the key is to prepare the graphics meaningfully. It’s not enough to design pretty images; they must be created with a purpose in mind: blocks for headlines, prices, or others. This way, if we decide to change any of these, we don’t have to redo the entire design, just replace a piece.
Afterward, it is essential to organize the work so that no one spends too much time searching. This is what we meant by clarifying some nomenclatures. To do this, it is advisable to use clear names and organize the files well to know where each material is located.
Common Workflow Mistakes to Avoid
Now that we know what to do, it is also worth highlighting some mistakes to avoid, at least as much as possible. One of them is over-personalizing a video. When a project excites us, it is normal to spend more hours than necessary to make it the best it can be. However, passion can become very costly if, ultimately, it leads to a delay that creates a domino effect.
Therefore, you should not treat each video as if it were a unique piece. Marketing does not work by continuously creating masterpieces; there must be consistency among the productions. You know, done is better than perfect.
Creative Cloud offers
As of today, you can access Creative Cloud through four types of plans: Individuals, Students & Teachers (with discount), Business (with management and user licenses), and Schools & Universities (for educational institutions). Within each type, the most common choice is between a single app (for example, Premiere Pro or Illustrator) or the all apps plan (Creative Cloud with everything included).
Adobe often publishes special promotions (for example, discounts in the first year on some plans), so it’s a good idea to check the current offers section before signing up. Here’s how you can access it:
Go to the Creative Cloud plans page and choose your profile (individual/student/business) and the type of plan (single app or all apps).
To try programs like Premiere Pro or Illustrator, go to the applications catalog and select the Free Trial button (Adobe indicates that, in general, you can try an app for 7 days).
Install the app from Creative Cloud and, if it doesn’t suit you, Adobe also offers a refund guarantee within a certain period for some plans after billing starts.
With this, in one afternoon you can be testing the complete flow (assets in Illustrator + iteration with Firefly+ editing in Premiere) without needing to fully commit.

The documentary titled Melania, directed by Brett Ratner and originally scheduled to premiere in South Africa, has been pulled from the country’s cinemas, a decision driven by the local distributor Filmfinity. However, the specific reasons behind this measure have not been detailed, leading to an atmosphere of speculation regarding the political and social factors that may have influenced this decision.
Neither Melania nor Melanio!
Thobashan Govindarajulu, director of sales and marketing at Filmfinity, confirmed to media outlets such as the New York Times that the decision to withdraw the film was made by his company, but he did not provide further explanations. This lack of clarity has fueled rumors in the film industry, suggesting that the withdrawal could be related to the controversial nature of the political content that the documentary addresses.
Melania is a production that, due to its theme and treatment, could be perceived as delicate in a context where politics and the figure of Melania Trump generate polarized opinions. While the reasons behind the withdrawal have not been specified, the silence surrounding the matter has led to various analyses regarding the impact this may have on other productions that must deal with similar themes in various parts of the world.
In light of this situation, the film industry in South Africa and other countries could be influenced by this incident, as distributors may reconsider how they handle the release of documentaries or films that address sensitive political issues. This raises questions about freedom of expression in cinema and the limits that distributors are willing to accept in an increasingly polarized world.

Pepsi has confirmed that it will launch a new advertisement during Super Bowl LX, which will take place on February 8. This advertisement not only marks the beginning of a new advertising campaign but also represents a significant shift in the brand’s marketing strategy, indicating a more serious and aggressive approach against its eternal rival, Coca-Cola.
The Pepsi Bears
Over the years, Pepsi has maintained a prolonged rivalry with Coca-Cola, primarily manifested through a series of advertisements that have been more about jokes than direct attacks. However, in this new attempt, it seems that Pepsi is ready to adopt a more forceful tone. The advertisement focuses on a character that consumers will recognize as a symbol of loyalty towards Coca-Cola, which could indicate that the brand is looking to capture the attention of the most loyal followers of the competitor.
Although the exact details of the announcement’s content are kept secret, the campaign is expected to go beyond simple rivalry and address themes of authenticity and brand preference. Additionally, it is rumored that in this effort, Pepsi may try not only to attract Coca-Cola consumers, but also to provoke a broader conversation about the culture of soda consumption in general.
This type of advertising, which emphasizes a more serious and challenging tone, could mark a new chapter in the long history of competition between these two giants of the beverage sector. The airing of the ad during one of the most-watched sporting events of the year can generate a great stir, and it will undoubtedly be a hot topic for marketing enthusiasts and the media in general.
As of today, all television producers know that a good period series sells. People want to see people from other eras and discover that, in important matters, they were basically like us. They fell in love, had sex or tried to, went to work, went out at night, and had tremendous fights with their family, partners, and friends. And it is comforting and interesting in the same way that it is when it is a contemporary series. Because we like to see people like us. To this day, all television producers know that a good period series sells. People want to see people from other eras and discover that, in important matters, they were basically like us. They fell in love, had sex or tried to, went to work, went out at night, and had tremendous arguments with their family, partners, and friends. And it is comforting and interesting in the same way that it is when it is a contemporary series. Because we like to see people like us. Because watching human beings existing and having small everyday conflicts is interesting. That’s why no one dislikes a good gossip.
But there was a time when that was not seen that way. Making a period series costs money, because both sets and costumes and makeup cause production costs to skyrocket excessively. But there was a series that dramatically changed that upon its arrival on Netflix five years ago, at least in the eyes of the general public. That series was Bridgerton.
In the 19th century they were like us (the upper class)
Originally premiered on December 25, 2020, this series by Shonda Rhimes offered us a glimpse into London’s high society during the Regency era, in the early 20th century, adapting the popular novels of the same name by Julia Quinn. Focusing on two families in particular, the Bridgertons and the Featheringtons, the story centers on what would be gossip for the rest of society. What each member of the families does or does not do in certain circumstances leads to scandals or intriguing little slips.
The great strength of the series is that, although it always focuses on both families, the focus is always on one of the Bridgerton brothers in particular and on his romantic partner. All the others are secondary, but in a way that we know that, in later seasons, they will eventually become the protagonists of their own story.
With eight siblings among the Bridgertons, four boys and four girls, that means there are many subplots, but it can also take time for our favorite character to become the protagonist. But for now, in the first season we had Daphne Bridgerton and her romance with Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, in the second season we had Anthony and his romance with Kathani, and in the third season it was Colin’s turn and his romance with Penelope Featherington, in the most talked-about crossover between both families.
For the fourth season, although it would be logical for one of the girls to take the lead, it will once again be one of the boys. Benedict Bridgerton, the second male child of the family, will be the protagonist of the season. Bohemian and little interested in romance or starting a family, he will fall in love with a mysterious masked woman at one of the balls attended by the family. From then on, the entire season will focus on discovering the identity of that woman and, if possible, marrying her, while he grapples with the two impulses that reside within him: the love for that mysterious woman and the bohemian life he has led until now.
With the return of all the actors from previous seasons, except for Regé Jean Page who has not appeared since the first, and very likely the disappearance of the character Daphne Bridgerton, there will be a notable addition to the cast. And don’t continue reading this paragraph if you want to avoid spoilers. Because the cast will be joined by Yerin Hace playing Sophie Beckett, Simon’s romantic interest, who will keep him on his toes throughout the season.
Although it is scheduled to premiere on January 29, as is usual on Netflix, it will be released in two parts. To see the second part of the series and witness the conclusion of these two lovers, we will have to wait until February 26. But don’t despair, because even though we have to wait, the series has already been renewed for a fifth season.

Everyone with Dano
The reaction from the Hollywood community has been overwhelming. At the screening of ‘Little Miss Sunshine’ at the Sundance Festival, Collette expressed her outrage, saying: Are we really going to go there? Screw that! He must have been high… it was just confusing. Who does that?. Dano, for his part, expressed his gratitude for the support, noting that it is rewarding to see others speak up in his defense: It was very nice. I am also very grateful that the world spoke for me so I didn’t have to.
Despite public pressure and supportive comments,Tarantino has not made any further statements, which could have repercussions on his reputation. The director’s decision not to apologize has left the possibility of a prolonged controversy open.
Meanwhile, the support for Dano not only reinforces his image in Hollywood, but it also could positively influence his future career, distancing him from the unfounded criticisms of the renowned director.
