With the arrival of the upcoming fourth generation of the iPhone SE, it seems that we will be in for a pleasant surprise. A change that, aimed at adapting the new phone to Apple Intelligence, will bring it up to the level of the other iPhone models we expect this year.
A good option to consider for switching to iPhone
From the latest newsletter published by Mark Gurman, it can be deduced that the upcoming iPhone SE 4 will feature 8GB of RAM, a significant jump from the current model’s 4GB, released in 2022. This increase in memory is, in fact, necessary as the Apple Intelligence models, which will arrive in iOS 18.1, require at least 8GB of RAM to function.
Until now, only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max include this amount of RAM, but soon the iPhone SE could also do it. It is the same Gurman who claims that ‘you can bet it will have Apple Intelligence’. If so, we will not only be facing an iPhone SE 4 that doubles the amount of memory, but also a very, very interesting device.
The iPhone SE 4 not only promises improvements in memory and power with the new A18 chip, but it is also expected to feature a redesigned design similar to that of the iPhone 14. This would include Face ID instead of Touch ID, a USB-C port, an action button, and a 5G modem designed by Apple.
What is the result? A phone that, for $429 if there are no price variations, will be compatible with Apple Intelligence. A phone that becomes very, very attractive to a wider audience than usual. A highly recommended option once it arrives.
