Me, which will premiere on July 12th, is a science fiction series that follows Ben, a 12-year-old boy who, in the midst of adapting to a new family, discovers that he has superpowers. Throughout the season, Ben will learn the true meaning of his abilities with the help of his stepsister Max, facing the mysteries and tragedies of his community.
Lady in the Lake, scheduled for July 19, transports us to 1966 Baltimore, where the disappearance of a young woman triggers a series of events that will affect the life of Maddie Schwartz (Natalie Portman), a housewife looking to reinvent herself as a journalist, and Cleo Johnson (Moses Ingram), a mother struggling to survive in Baltimore’s political environment. What begins as a parallelism between their lives soon becomes a dangerous investigation into Cleo’s death.
Omnivore, also scheduled for July 19th, is a documentary series narrated by chef René Redzepi that explores the ingredients that have shaped societies and beliefs throughout history. Each episode is a tribute to how we cultivate and consume the planet’s most precious resources.
Time Bandits, which premieres on July 24th, is a family comedy that takes us on an adventure through time and space. Kevin, a young history enthusiast, and a group of thieves travel through different eras in search of treasures and trying to save the world from evil forces.
Women in Blue, scheduled for July 31st, is a dramatic series set in 1970 and inspired by true events.
