Calling all Spider-Man fans! Sony has finally informed us that we can expect Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in the fall of 2023, giving an indication of when we can expect it on PlayStation 5. Sadly, there isn’t an indication yet of when we’ll see it on PC. Perhaps we can take a swing on the wild side and take a guess.
Let’s take a look at the PlayStation blog first for some details on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for the PS5. Both Spider-Man 1 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales attained massive success, with fans playing them for hours on end. To expand the fanbase, Sony went as far as porting them to PC, letting us swing into action on smaller screens.
We have some idea of the timelines between the PlayStation and PC releases. It usually takes about two years before a console-exclusive title comes to PC. However, Spider-Man: Miles Morales appeared on computer a year and a half after the PS release. With that in mind, there’s a good chance we won’t have to wait too long for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to do the same.
Not to rub it in, but I’ve been a PlayStation gamer since the first console. I have yet to get my grubby hands on the PS5, but I’m looking forward to Spider-Man 2’s release. My PS4 won’t get to see it, so I’ll probably wait as long as other PC gamers to play it.

If Spider-Man 2 is launching on PS5 during the fall of 2023, then we’ll probably see a PC port in early 2025, if not before then. What I’m excited about is that we’ll see both Peter Parker and Miles Morales in this sequel.
If you’ve watched until the end of the trailer, you’ll notice that Venom will also be in it. It will be interesting to see if we’ll get the Venom suit and if Carnage will also make an appearance. We’ve already had The Sinister Six in the first game, so having the two symbiotes battle it out in New York would be exciting.
