Al Pacino joins the cast of the movie Maserati: The Brothers directed by Bobby Moresco, marking a new chapter in his career after portraying Aldo Gucci in House of Gucci. Moresco, known for his work on Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend, continues his exploration of the lives of automotive brand creators with this new project, which also includes upcoming titles like Ferrari vs. Mercedes and Bugatti.
A movie that seeks to tell the origins of an iconic brand
Maserati: The Brothers tells the fascinating story of the iconic Italian luxury car brand, founded in 1914 in Bologna by brothers Alfieri, Ettore, and Ernesto Maserati. In this context, Al Pacino will play Vincenzo Vaccaro, a key businessman who played a crucial role as an investor and support for the Maserati family in their early days. His participation adds significant acting weight to a cast that already includes big names like Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia, Jessica Alba, Michele Morrone, and Salvatore Esposito.
The production of the film has begun, with the second part starting its shooting this June in Rome. The premiere is scheduled for autumn, generating expectations among movie and motorsport fans. This film represents the second collaboration between Pacino and Hopkins, who previously worked together in “Sins of the Father,” promising a captivating acting spectacle.
Additionally, Pacino will star in The Ritual, an exorcism film directed by David Midell, scheduled to be released on August 6.
