Share Item Location simplifies luggage recovery
Apple has added a new feature called Share Item Location in iOS 18.2, and it’s tailored perfectly for travel. The feature is available through the Find My app on iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Once you open the app, go to the Items tab, select your AirTag, and scroll down to find the “Share Item Location” option. You’ll get a secure URL to send to the airline, which integrates with their support systems. Once the luggage is returned, the link automatically disables itself, ensuring your privacy.
