Supergiant Games has announced that the highly anticipated sequel to their acclaimed roguelike, Hades 2, will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on April 14th.
The news was confirmed during the Xbox Partner Preview presentation, where it was also revealed that the title will be available on Xbox Game Pass from its launch.

This console version will follow the official release of version 1.0 of the game last year on PC and Nintendo Switch. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions are designed to run at 120 frames per second, in addition to including new additional content and quality of life improvements, promising an even smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience.
Among the improvements, players are expected to receive an additional content patch on the same day of the release, although the specific details of this content remain a mystery. However, a new animated trailer has provided some hints, suggesting the inclusion of additional scenes, such as an interaction with Heracles at a spring, which could open new romance options for players.
