The players of Helldivers 2 are about to receive new brutal features

It is the trendy game this 2024, despite Palworld still having the best overall numbers. Helldivers 2 has been a breath of fresh air to an industry that every day has bad news in the form of canceled games and layoffs.

Helldivers has been a resounding success for Arrowhead and Sony. So much so that the game has become the biggest launch in the history of the Japanese console manufacturer on Steam.

The study has also faced an initial problem with impostors pretending to be the acclaimed title with imitation lists, as we already reported earlier this month.

What does the Helldivers 2 patch bring to PC and PS5

This new patch, which will initially arrive to PC players and later to PlayStation players, will add an additional elemental enemy to fight while bullets fly.

The patch notes indicate that in this update the “planetary hazards” are activated. Many planets now have additional environmental challenges that will appear randomly while you are deployed, from fire tornadoes to meteor showers and many more.

The majority of the patch focuses on the process of balancing the game after a hectic launch period that has undoubtedly provided Arrowhead with a ton of collated data to process. With over 458,709 players at the game’s peak according to Steambd, there is a lot of information to analyze.

One of the changes is that now eradication missions take longer to complete, as according to the study, “they now require more kills and enemies appear more often. The time to complete the mission was previously shorter than expected and now it should take twice as long.”

Other changes announced in the patch have to do with the primary, secondary, and support weapons, stratagems, and the issues and fixes that the studio has implemented.
